Häid Jõule! Merry Christmas! Joyeux Noël! Hyvää Joulua! веселого Рождества!
Quite interesting winter this year in Estonia. Usually we have lots of snow (like last two years, when we had extra much snow ca 1,5 metres) and -20 degrees cold, but this year is unusual, no cold, no snow. Here is +8 degrees and rainy and windy!!! Snow, where are you? -.-
Some facts about Estonia: 1) We use the word 'normal' if something is ok. 2) 'Kohuke' belongs to our menu. 3) Words like 'veoauto', 'täieõiguslik' or 'jää-äär' sound perfectly pronouncable to us. 4) When someone asks to you 'where is Estonia?', you quickly reply that it's located in Northen Europe close to Finland. 5) Verivorst tastes great (sounds very worst) 6) A language should have at least 14 cases 7) You are so proud of every Estonian that you correct foreigners who say that the population is 1 million, not 1.3 million as it actually is 8) Swimming in +18C water is a perfectly normal summer activity for you. 9) You know the names of all three black people living in Estonia. 10) The most difficult subjects you learned at school were Estonian history, Estonian geography and Estonian literature. AND RUSSIAN.
